Today’s growing communications technology suggests more ways to advertise one’s business. I have been planning parties for almost two years and I found that it’s no longer sufficient to just broadcast your services in traditional media. Any business now has to consider the power advertising on the net. I started this through social network sites like Friendster, Facebook and Multiply but I also realized that I needed to fine tune this advertising push by maximizing the point of contact with my prospective clients. I decided to create a website so that I could attract attention even 24/7. I could have my website speak for my ideas and portfolio. I was lucky to find a free website builder because it’s just what I needed. It’s free! Best of all, I could do it myself. I could consult their online experts. About their tutorials for different types of websites, they are very simple and easy to follow. It guided me every step of the way. The contest Wix of the Day also gave me a little push and inspired me to really develop a creative and artistic website. I added slideshows of parties I’ve planned in the past. There is also a gallery for the ideas that clients might want to use for their parties. I even have a soundtrack for each page or gallery of hairstyles. The sample websites in Wix.com’s gallery also gave me ideas on how to design my website. The tips also helped me make my design functional yet fascinating.
